How does a motorsport race control system detect stopped vehicles?
Live GPS tracking lets race control monitor vehicle positions and identify unexpected behaviour. With MYLAPS X2 Race Control Manager, operators can receive alerts for sudden stops, unusually low speeds and vehicles leaving the track. The module uses vehicle location data to automatically select the camera showing the incident area.
How does in-car marshalling deliver safety flags to drivers?
In-car marshalling, also called on-board flagging, displays safety signals inside a racing vehicle. MYLAPS uses X2 RaceLinks and 3rd party displays to deliver personal, sector and full-track flags, including yellow and red warnings.
How can race officials replay and investigate an on-track incident?
Race replay, recorded footage and timestamped incident logs help officials reconstruct the sequence of events during a race.
