Over 3,000 volunteers helped the races for 30,000 runners this year due to Covid restrictions. Our timing partner Nikos Polias (All About Running) was the first runner to carry the Marathon flame from the tomb to Marathon start! Besides, Nikos and his team went on national radio about the event and managed many side projects next to timing the event.<\/p>\n<p>. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-21775 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/mylaps.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/athens-marathon-the-authentic-2021-10-8-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Athens Marathon.
