Fair Racing & Rule Enforcement

During the invitational feature races, the Race direction team used the MYLAPS system extensively to monitor incidents, detect corner cuts or stopped vehicles, and manage Slow Zones, Full Course Yellow, or Safety Car deployments efficiently and safely. The system also helped enforce overtaking and speed rules under yellow flags or slow zones, while providing teams and drivers with replay proof.

X2 RaceLinks, paired with Lumirank SAS Driver Info Displays, provided drivers with live flag signals — including Yellow, Double Yellow, Full Course Yellow, Slow Zone, Safety Car, and Checkered Flag — directly inside their cars.

X2 Link – Live Tracking & Speed Monitoring of Vehicles

X2 Link is part of the MYLAPS X2 Race Control Solution. The X2 RaceLinks, installed on-board each vehicle, deliver accurate and reliable real-time GPS tracking of all cars on track — including safety team vehicles. This live position and speed monitoring allows faster dispatch and response times, fewer track closures, tighter adherence to sporting regulations, and improved safety.
