Course Record in the Women’s Race

Sharon Lokedi of Kenya set a new course record at the Boston Marathon on Monday, finishing with a time of 2 hours, 17 minutes, and 22 seconds—surpassing the previous record by more than two minutes. Her strong finish secured a decisive victory.

Just six months after winning the Chicago Marathon, John Korir won the men’s race in an impressive time of 2 hours, 4 minutes, and 45 seconds, joining his brother as a winner of the Boston Marathon.
