RC4 Decoder

The RC4 Decoder determines the exact time at which each transponder passes the detection loops. The decoder sends this data the timekeeper’s computer.

RC4 Transponder

RC4 Transponders work with a MYLAPS RC4 Timing System installed at the track. Every time you cross these timing points, your transponder sends a signal to a detection loop embedded in the track.

- Timing resolution: 0.001 sec

RC4 Detection Loop

RC4 Detection loops are embedded in the track’s surface at the start and finish line and at intermediate timing points along the track, picking up signals from the transponders and passing them through to the decoder.

MYLAPS does not provide dedicated software for the RC4 System, but numerous high-quality software packages are available that are fully compatible with it, including: bbk RC software, Everlaps, LiveTime Scoring, RCGarage, RC Timing, RC Scoring Pro
