X2 Decoder

The decoder plays a crucial role in timing and accuracy by determining the precise moment each transponder crosses the detection loops. Once the data is collected, the decoder transmits this information to the server.

Detection Loop

Detection loops are embedded in the track’s surface at the start and finish line and at intermediate timing points along the track. A detection loop works as the system’s antenna. It picks up signals from the transponders and passes them through to the decoder.

X2 Server

All X2 components connect to the X2 server, the hub linking to the X2 Cloud and controlling the system. The X2 Utility manages the server, which features a practice mode for automatic result uploads to mylaps.com.
